The measure of a successful club is how well it passes along the knowledge of its experienced artisans to its newest members. In Medieval times, Guilds were formed to train new craftsmen and promote the profession, and thus a modern version of a Guild, the Valley Woodturners Club exists to do the same. We find pleasure as we turn a piece of wood into something new and wonderful, the continuation of nature in another form. Our goal is to have fun through the promotion of woodturning and the passing of tips, techniques and ideas to our membership.
