Epoxy Resin Casting Assistance
Lorne Wilson is looking for some assistance in doing some epoxy resin work in support of his turning. He is looking for someone with a pressure pot who can cast some epoxy resin for him. He would pay for time, use of equipment, resin and be available to come to their shop to be as useful as possible.

Wood For Sale
Jason has some green (22+% moisture) pear pieces for sale, cut to different lengths (3", 6", 12" at 1.75" - 3.25" diameter) for projects like bottle stoppers, ornaments, pens, spoons, etc.). He also has some 9" diameter larger pear pieces that he plans on splitting down the middle with bark on. Everything has been stabilized by generous coatings of Lee Valley log end sealer immediately and is kept in his unheated garage in paper leaf bags to prevent cracking and splitting. The heartwood is prominent and beautiful. He also has access to his family's wood lot near Barry's Bay with some wood standing on it - birchleaf pear, sugar maple, red oak, basswood, etc.

If anyone needs Velcro-backed sanding discs Ken Waller can ship them out by mail. Payment by e-mail transfer or by arrangement. (He just shipped 20 packages of 2" discs to Quebec by Canada Post at a cost of $5.00.)
