the MariAn McGee award

We are always looking for members to submit a turning as part of the Marian McGee Award and Challenge.  Our 2026 selection took place at our meeting on Tuesday, 9 June 2026.  The 2026 entries were judged at our June 2026 meeting and the winning submission was presented to Semhal Sisay Gessese, the top student at the University of Ottawa's School of Nursing.  Congratulations, Semhal!  The winning submission was created by Jayne Torr.   Semhal, Jayne, and her creation are pictured below.

Turning of the Year

This year Jayne Torr took the honours for the Turning of the Year.  As last year, her turning also won the Marion McGee Award as seen above.  Contratulations, Jayne!
